We are currently seeking the following, to join our team:

Learning Mentor (Maths and/or Science) - closing date 25 January 2021
  • Grade 9 £25,753 to £27,629 per annum pro rata
  • 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
  • Working pattern 9.00 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday
  • Fixed term in the first instance to 31 July 2021 with the potential for the contract to become permanent

The job could be split with one post working in Maths and one post working in Science. Please state on your application which subject area(s) you are applying for.

This exciting new role has been created to support students who have fallen behind as a result of extended school closure, however, there could be the opportunity for a permanent contract to help close gaps in mathematics and science with a variety of students.

The post will focus on supporting identified students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5 for the right candidate). Work will be both in class and in small withdrawal groups. The successful candidate will be supported by the Science and Maths Departments, and will need to be flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about these subjects.

You should have excellent skills in Science and Maths and be able to work independently and as part of our team of teachers. Knowledge of the AQA GCSE Combined Science specification and the Edexcel GCSE Maths specification would be an advantage. Actual salary is £17,881 to £19,183 per annum for 30 hour per week.

Assistant Catering Manager - closing date 25 January 2021
  • Grade 6 £19,697 to £20,145 per annum pro rata
  • 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
  • Working pattern 7.45 am to 3.15 pm Monday to Friday

You will be part of our large and friendly catering team assisting the Catering Manager to manage the efficient operation of the school’s popular and successful catering service. The role will involve planning menus, ensuring food safety regulations are adhered to, leading a team and practical help including cooking. Actual salary is £15,955 – £16,318 per annum.

Family Support Worker - closing date 25 January 2021
  • Grade 8 £23,250 to £25,128 per annum pro rata
  • 15 hours per week, 42 weeks per year
  • Two days per week to be negotiated
  • Temporary to cover maternity leave

This role supports the engagement and well-being of children and young people at home and in school to enable them to reach their full potential. The role will be based at Lady Manners School but will include working with our partner Primary Schools and their pupils/families so the ability to travel is essential.

You will work closely with school staff, partner agencies, children/young people and their families to develop action plans which tackle identified need and achieve lasting change. The role will also involve undertaking Early Help assessments and acting as the Lead Professional where necessary. You will be fully supported by our experienced Student and Family Support Manager. Actual salary is £8,693 to £9,395 per annum.

Site Supervisor - closing date 25 January 2021
  • Grade 5 £18,933 to £19,311 per annum plus enhancement of time and a third for unsocial hours worked after 7 pm or before 7 am
  • 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
  • Rotating shift pattern:
    • Week 1: 6 am to 2 pm Monday to Thursday and 6 am to 1.30 pm Friday
    • Week 2: 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 3.30 pm Friday
    • Week 3: 1 pm to 9 pm Monday to Thursday and 1.30 pm to 9.00 pm Friday
  • Occasional weekend work may be required to service lettings of the school premises

Our team of enthusiastic and committed caretaking staff provide an invaluable and professional service to ensure that our school buildings and grounds are maintained to high standards.

The role involves a variety of duties including unlocking and securing the site, performing maintenance tasks, and grounds maintenance. You will be well supported and training is available.

Support Services Assistant (Catering) - Two Posts - closing date 25 January 2021

  • Post 1: 11.30am to to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, 17 ½ hours per week, 39 weeks per year, permanent
  • Post 2: 10.30am to 3.30pm Monday and Tuesday, 9 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, temporary to 31 March 2021 in the first instance

Join our highly popular and successful catering department to provide an exciting range of healthy meals to students and staff. We are looking for people who work well in a team, can work to deadlines and have excellent customer service skills. Ideally you should have experience of working in a catering environment although full training will be provided. Actual salary is £7,370 per annum for post 1 and £3,790 per annum for post 2.

Casual and Relief Staff

Relief Support Services Assistant

Duties include clearing, preparing and serving food and supervising students. Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous although full training will be provided. The rate of pay will be £9.43 per hour plus £1.37 per hour in lieu of annual leave/bank holidays.

Invigilator

Duties include assisting with the preparation of the examination room, supervising students during the examination and ensuring examinations run in accordance with rules and regulations. The rate of pay will be £9.62 per hour plus £1.39 per hour in lieu of annual leave/bank holidays.
